GAP: Grandparents As Parents is a support ministry tailored specifically for grandparents who are raising their grandchildren full-time and so are re-entering a parenting phase of life. Faith-based topics will include lifestyle change, emotional healing, legal protection, restoration of marital/family relationships, re-parenting, and custody options. There are now two GAP groups to choose from, and new members may join at any time:

  • GAP North Region
The North group meets at 7:00-8:30pm on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month September through May at Fellowship NWA. Childcare is available on-site for $5 per family. Leaders are Carl and Cheryl Kimbro.
  • GAP South Region

The South group will meet at 5:00-6:30pm on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month September through May at Fellowship Fayetteville. Childcare is available on-site for $5 per family. Leaders are Wayne and Vicki Kennedy

Curriculum for this year is Raising Your Children’s Children: Help for Grandparents Raising Grandkids, by Martha Evans Sparks. Cost for the book is $12.
