Our Vision is to share the love of Jesus Christ with families affected by disability.
We Value the contribution all people make to the church, and we feel our church body isn’t complete when we don’t have the opportunity to learn from individuals with special needs.
We Believe all should be invited to know the love of Christ and use their gifts to serve Him.
“But how can people call for help if they don’t know who to trust? And how can they know who to trust if they haven’t heard of the One who can be trusted? And how can they hear if nobody tells them? And how is anyone going to tell them, unless someone is sent to do it?” Romans 10:14 MSG
We Strive for children and adults with special needs to be included with their peers during all worship services. We accomplish this by providing a "buddy" to help each person be successful. Level of care looks a little different for each child/adult. Some individuals do great fully integrated with their peers while others need more support and benefit from a smaller, more structured environment. Our One-2-One volunteers are trained to minister to the special needs of each child/adult and undergo background screening. For more information or to learn about opportunities to serve, contact Karen Campbell.
Fellowship NWA is a rEcess site, offering a "Parent’s Night Out" one night a month for special needs children and their siblings. Visit rEcess to learn more. For more information, contact the rEcess Team.
